To Register or apply for awards, the candidate is required to:

How to Complete Application Form?

 

To successfully complete your application form,

·        You must complete (fill) all compulsory fields (fields with (*)).

·        After duly completing such fields, you can click on the submit button

·        Clicking the submit button displays a confirmation page for you to confirm all the data you have filled into the form.

·        To reset your entries in the Registration page, click on the Reset button.

·        On the confirmation page, you have an Edit button; clicking on the Edit button takes you back to the application form to edit your entries on it.

How to Scan and upload pdf Documents?

If you are using HP Scanjet or any HP Scanner

i.                     Load HP Director

ii.                   Click Settings | Scan Document Settings and make the following changes:

 

Scan for: Image Type

Resolution

Output Type

Text & Graphic(s) as Image

iii.                  Click Apply and Click Ok

iv.                 On the HP Director window click Scan Document

v.                   Select the following Options

vi.                 Click Scan and wait for scanner to scan. After scanning it will display a message asking if you want to scan another document?

vii.                 Click Yes if you want to scan other documents. Load the document in the scanner and click New Scan. The document in the scanner will be previewed on the screen. Click Accept.

viii.              When you are through with scanning all your documents, Click No and wait for the Save As Window to appear.

ix.                 In the Save as window, type in a file name in the File name Box, and select PDF(*.pdf) in the Save as Type Box. Please note the folder where you want to save the document

x.                   Click Save

How to upload Photos?

 

(Note your passport sized photo would have been scanned and saved)

 

 

 

 

NOTE: The size of photo to be uploaded is not expected to exceed 10kb in (.jpg) format.

 

On successful submission of application, a Register Successful page is displayed and an email is sent to the email address entered (filled) in the application form.

Content of Email

 

The Email sent to an applicant’s email address as completed in the submitted form has the following.

a)                   The user ID and Password of the user.

b)                  A message indicating successful completion of application form and a confirmation of receipt of application for processing and short listing.

c)                   Candidates are advised to check both inbox and bulk folder messages.

FAQ for Migration to ESMS

 

HOW DO I GET TO THE VERIFICATION PAGE:       Log on to http://scholarships.totalsdd.com then click on the hyperlink MIGRATION TO ESMS: Verify my record.” This will lead you to an Edit Student Data web page.

 

HOW DO I CHECK FOR MY NAME? On the Edit Student Data web page, Click on the Select Institution drop down list to select your institution, also click on the Select Award year drop down list box to select the year you were awarded the scholarship, then click on the search button.

 

I CANNOT REMEMBER MY AWARD YEAR: On the Edit Student Data web page click on the Select award year drop down list box and choose show all after you have selected your institution then click on the search button.

 

I CHANGED INSTITUTION/COURSE:           You can proceed to correct the change of Institution/course but other changes like duration of course and level can not be changed since this will lead to the extension of the award and in such case you need to apply giving proof of change for consideration.

 

THE SYSTEM HAS NO ACCOUNT # AGAINST MY NAME:   This is because your account number is not in our database and as such you can not verify your data. Send your account details to us with your name and email address and other details so that it can be uploaded into the database.

 

I WANT TO CHANGE MY BANK DETAILS:   You can not change your bank details yourself. To do so apply to us to effect the change for you giving us your correct details.

 

I CAN NOT LOG IN :           The system displays  your record does not exist in our database. Ensure that you are properly registered.” If you are sure you have entered your correct details, then apply by sending your correct bank account details, pin no, name, email to scholarshipinfo@totalsdd.com

 

WHAT DO I DO AFTER LOG IN:      Verify your details, after which you click on the verification done button at the bottom of the page.

 

 

Why is my name under "list of those whose scholarship has expired"

A.    This is because your scholarship period with our company has ended. Your scholarship, as stated in your award letter was meant to cover the remaining part of your course duration as at the time the award was given. This does not include delays as a result of strike actions, low academic performance or other unforeseen circumstances. If you have any complaints and queries about the expiration of your award, please fill the online form, and send scanned copies of  documents such as Award letter, admission letter and school identity card to scholarshipinfo@totalsdd.com

Why have I not been short listed for payment?

What is an Asset?

Companies in the oil and gas industries  operate in regions or communities which bring in returns. A part of these returns are in turn used to sponsor indigenes from these regions or communities as part of the corporate-social responsibilities of these companies. These regions or communities are known as ASSETS.

In EPNL, there are eight (8) different communities and they are: OPL 221, OPL 222, OPL 223, OML 57, OML 58, OML 100, OML 130 and JV.

OML stands for Oil Mining Leasing, OPL stands for Oil Prospective Leasing and JV stands for Joint Venture.

Scholars of EPNL award that fall within OML 57, OML 58 and OML 100 are known as Community Awardees, while that fall within OML 130, OPL 221, OPL 222, OPL 223 and JV are known as National Merit Awardees.

 

How do I know my Asset?

When you are awarded a scholarship, you will be given an Asset which you will get to know as you receive your award letter.
